About the Program...The Connecticut Rivers Council will once again offer the ATV Safety Institute program for the season in morning and afternoon sessions at Summer Camp. Minimum age for participants is fourteen (14+) by the start of the week. Scouts will take part in the sixteen lessons of the ASI course, plus have opportunity for more riding and introduction to TreadLightly! Scouts need to bring long-sleeve shirt/jacket to wear, long pants, boots that cover their ankles, and gloves. Class-size limits are imposed by age and the size of vehicles we'll have. Please note: ATV use remains unauthorized for use at the unit level—these programs may only be operated at the council level.
