The Reservation... Located in the scenic New England town of Ashford, Connecticut. Established in 1964, the reservation occupies 1,200 acres of land that is home to Scouts , Cub Scouts, Veturners, Explorers & Families each summer during its seven-week season. Scouts stay in 2 man wall tents and sleep on cots with mattresses. Three square meals are served daily in the recently renovated Greer Dining Hall or the Thunderdome. The Reservation boasts its own private lake, Goss Pond so swimming and boating are part of the fun. Many of the traditions at J.N. Webster derive from its direct predecessors Camp Quinebaug (1942-1963), Camp Wakenah (1917-1972) and more recently in the Cub Country Camp Tadma's traditions continue.
