Dear Week 4 Camp Scoutmasters & Parents, (Saturday, July 17, 9:30 PM)
I apologize in advance for this message at this late hour. A member of our team is in the process of calling each unit directly to have a conversation tonight.
On Saturday, July 17, J.N. Webster, along with much of Northern Connecticut experienced significant rainfall. The camp has experienced significant flooding, erosion, and other storm damage with the already saturated ground. With more rainfall expected and out of an abundance of caution, We have made the difficult decision to delay the opening of Week 4 until Tuesday, July 20th, at 1:00 PM. As a result, the week will run through Saturday, July 24th with Parents night Starting at 5:30 on that Saturday. We will adjust the camper fee. If this is not tenable for your unit, we will be available to move your unit to Weeks 5, 6, or 7.
We will continue to post information on www.GoToWebster.org and on Social Media.
We appreciate your understanding as we are looking to make sure that Safety is our number one priority. More information will be distributed on Sunday.
Questions can be addressed to [email protected] or [email protected].
